On Friday 12 March 2021, Justin Franssen and Frank Tolboom, both partners at the Gaming & Gambling practice group at Kalff Katz & Franssen, will participate in session 10 of the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL) 2021 Spring Conference.
The central topic of the online session, which will take place between 4:15 pm and 5:15 pm CET, is to explore the licensing opportunities & risks regarding the long-awaited local licensing regime for remote gambling in Germany and the Netherlands. In more detail, it will be discussed whether there will be a smooth transition, what the main challenges are of the remote licence application process in the respective jurisdictions and how both markets will evolve post-licensing in comparison to other markets.
