iGB & IMGL webinar on future gambling regulation in the Netherlands and Germany

On 11 August 2020, the webinar ‘’Your next European iGaming market: Experts debunk future regulation in the Netherlands & Germany’’ was hosted by iGB in partnership with IMGL.

Alan Littler, gaming lawyer at Kalff Katz & Franssen, was one of the three panellists for the webinar.

The one-hour session was moderated by expert Joerg Hofmann, partner at Melchers Law.

Among other topics, the panellists discussed what there is to expect in the next 6 to 12 months in the Netherlands, as the jurisdiction moves towards the opening of a regulated market for remote gambling. The likely nature of the licence application process, which is expected to start in March 2021, was also a greatly discussed topic. The webinar closed with a short Q&A segment.
